Ahhhh . . . sweatshirt weather, my favorite season! Bring on the autumn, baby.
Yesterday, I FINALLY busted through revisions on a very difficult chapter, the kind where the emotional arc of three main characters collide. What a relief! Now I have another roughly seventy-five pages before this draft is finished. Then I’ll have to edit the entire book again to fix some problems hiding in all the nooks and crannies . . .
. . . and again because it’s told from four points of view and each voice needs to be distinct . . .
. . . and of course there always that fussy line-by-line edit . . .
. . . but then I’m DONE THIS REWRITE!
Probably in time for next year’s sweatshirt weather.
No, make that by the end of THIS September, my Jonowrimo goal. Guess I better get back to work, huh? 😉
