If you’re from my area and don’t have any plans for the weekend, come join us at the Baltimore Book Festival that’s going on today, Saturday and Sunday!

There’s lots of cool things planned. And–yay!–Tim Gunn is going to be there. I wonder if I can get him to say, “Work it out,” to me a few times? Shiver.

I’m also going to be a part of the New Novelist Panel on Saturday from 4:00–5:30 with other authors including Matthew Olshan, The Flown Sky and Finn, Brad Barkley, Scrambled Eggs at Midnight and Dream Factory, Laura Resau, Red Glass and What the Moon Saw, and one of my fellow Class of 2k7ers Melissa Marr, Wicked Lovely. I absolutely LOVE doing panels! The pressure isn’t directly on me and if I can’t think of an answer, I can just copy someone else’s, hehe.

Just kidding.

(Sort of.)

No, really, I’m kidding.

Also, for those near Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, I’m going to be at the Moravian Book Shop next Thursday, October 4th from 5:00 to7:30 for a Young Adult Book Discussion group. Also speaking is the super-cool Barry Lyga, The Astonishing Adventures of Fanboy and Goth Girl, Boy Toy, and yet another fellow Class of 2k7 gal, Sarah Aronson, Head Case. Hope to see you there!

(Sorry, I couldn’t figure out how to post a legible flyer. You can see a larger image at their website.)

Have a super weekend!
