Things have been rather slow here on my blog, haven’t they? It’s because I’m desperately trying to finish the novel that I intended on finishing NaNoWriMo by the end of the year. Tick, tick, tick.
Speaking of NaNoWriMo . . . yeah, November ended up being a total bugger of a month.
We had to put my horse, Frosty down, which was heartbreaking but necessary due to his cancer. (He’s the gray in my user pic.) We also lost my husband’s mother which was doubly heartbreaking. But, she’s no longer in pain and is now reunited with her husband in heaven. And, we were able to have a week-long visit with our family from Texas, which is always a blessing.
Anyway, throw in my son’s birthday, Thanksgiving, and a bunch of other occurences too minor to mention, and there you have it. My reasons for not finishing NaNoWriMo. Still, I’m happy with what I did write and hey, there’s always next year, right?
Right. So it’s back to work for me.
