Happy New Year, everyone!
I’ve been hemming and hawing over what to say in my first website post. First posts are important, you know. They set the tone of what is yet to come, so I wanted it to be something super positive.
This morning, I got my positive when my editor forwarded me this message from Cynthia Leitich Smith regarding my novel:

Wow. This made my day. My month. My year! I think I’m still in shock over her wonderful, kind words. Add to that the amazing blurb I received a few days prior from Ellen Wittlinger:

I’m hoping that great news like this continues throughout the year, and that EVERYONE has a fantastic 2007!
